The lost objects ‘garden series’ (2024) explores the themes of memory and loss.
Our memories exist in an liminal world. They are inspired by reality but influenced by by subjective interpretation and continually change over time. The past is idealised and catastrophised. What once happend becomes fragmented and no longer tangible. Moments seem distorted and almost dreamlike and surreal.
The same applies to these artworks, that make it impossible to capture the original image without distortion through textured glass or perspectival shift.
